Approximately 160,000 students skip school because they get bullied. This week at Arapahoe was Anti-Bullying Week, with different activities each day. Monday was everyone has a name so you would wear a name tag with your name on it. Tuesday was nobody sits alone, so we sat by someone new for lunch. Wednesday was wear your favorite tee shirt so, it was a conversation starter. Thursday was random acts of kindness so if you do something kind the person or people can put your name on the bulletin board. Friday is warrior pride so we will max out our blue to show pride in our school. In the U.S. 1 out of 5 students ages 12-18 are bullied in a school year.
