The Warrior Ladies come away with a win in the D1 Sub Districts. Arapahoe played a great game and defeated the Cambridge Trojans 53 to 38. They will play Southwest tomorrow at 6:30pm. Way to go!

2025 Girls State Wrestling Tuesday-Wednesday February 18th/19th CHI Health Center (Omaha, NE) Good luck to Arapahoe SR Brooke Lentz at Girls State Wrestling today & tomorrow in Omaha and to Hayley and Laney as well!

There will be NO SCHOOL at AHPS tomorrow due to the Winter Storm/Extreme Cold. The JH Boys Basketball Game scheduled for tomorrow at Bertrand has been postponed/canceled and updates will be given if it ends up being rescheduled.

Arapahoe students competed at the Furnas County Spelling Bee today. We were represented well by eleven of our JH students: Graham, Layton, Amelia, Romalie, Alaina, Dax, Kinley, Elizabeth, Meg, Lilly, and Juno. We had two medalists in the written round - 6th place: Amelia and 2nd place: Elizabeth We had three medalists in the oral round - 5th place: Alaina, 4th place: Amelia, and your 2025 Furnas County Spelling Bee Champion - Elizabeth! Elizabeth will now compete at the Midwest Spelling Bee in Omaha on March 15! Amazing job warriors! #warriorpride

I’m excited to tell you more about the trip we’re planning with EF Tours, our educational travel partner. We will be visiting Germany, Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on this adventure. Hunter will wrestle tomorrow in the wrestle backs. Briggs, Trey and Jacen will wrestle tomorrow in the Semi-finals.

The Arapahoe Backpacks for Kids Program accepts a very generous donation on February 3rd, from Mark Stagemeyer, Justin Stagemeyer, Jared Shafer, Paige Hyke, and Laura Frink of MNB Insurance Services, Inc., and from Erin Shafer and Kate Warner of MNB Realty . The Backpack Program mission is to provide children with nutritious and easy-to-prepare food and snacks when other resources may not be available, such as weekends and school vacations.

The Cambridge Area Rotary recently presented a donation to the Arapahoe Backpacks for Kids Program. We would like to thank them for their generosity and continued support of all of the children in our area!
