The Warriors did a great job representing Arapahoe at the Regional Science Olympiad Tournament in Kearney! The Varsity team placed 3rd of 27 teams and qualified for State Science Olympiad in April. It's a great day to be a Warrior! The Arapahoe Speech team has THREE State qualifiers! Senior Isabelle Roberts- Serious Prose Sophomore Bobbie Dunn- POI Freshman Hailey DeVries- Persuasive Speaking Overall the team had a great day! Junior Nate Stevens placed 5th overall in Extemporaneous Speaking and the OID that is made up of Isabelle Roberts, Jordan Holstein, Ryleigh Tidyman, Drew Hermes and Layton Hamel placed 5th overall.

The Furnas County Extension Office candled our eggs today. 18/18 eggs are “Winners.” We can’t wait to see how many hatch!

5-8th Grade Concert The 5-8th is Thursday, March 19, at 7PM. *5th and 6th grade can wear dressy clothes. No jeans, shorts, or sweatpants. Non-distressed black jeans are fine. *7th and 8th grade students need to wear white tops and black bottoms. No jeans, shorts, or sweatpants. Non-distressed Black jeans are fine. *All students should arrive to the band and choir rooms at 6:30PM! We are excited to perform for you! Fill the gym and come and come support these young musicians! You will also get to enjoy some great performances.

Due to the forecasted weather we are postponing the FFA Field Day scheduled for tomorrow.

Thanks to the Furnas County Extension Office, the third grade class has eggs and an incubator! The countdown has begun— we can’t wait to see how many chicks hatch in 21 days! The students are already very excited to watch the process and learn about the life cycle of chickens🐣🥚

Today the junior class attended the TriValley Career Fair. Students had the opportunity to talk to many different professionals who work in a variety of areas within the Tri Valley system. We even saw senior, Lauren Moore, who is doing an internship in the marketing dept as her Work Based Learning opportunity.
