5th Grade Science with Mr. Mues. Students were learning about decomposers (Red Wigglers) this week. They even got to share their worms with their Kindergarten buddies.

Chemistry practiced their dimensional analysis skills by making No Bake Cookies!

6th graders participated in an egg drop experiment. The goal of the contest was to reduce the amount of the kinetic energy of a mass (egg) falling at a certain velocity (speed). 66% of the eggs survived the fall. Brynlee and Emmaleigh won the competition with the lightest design. Ivory and Gracyn Helms got second place with the lightest design.

Will the egg survive the drop? The sixth graders are learning about kinetic energy! 🥚🪂

Instrument Rental Night with Yandas will be this Thursday (September 3rd) from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.

Junior High Volleyball 🏐 kicked off their season this afternoon in Cambridge. A Team went 1-1 on the day! Hitchcock County - 2-0 Cambridge - 0-2 Up next action is at HOME on 9/08 against Southwest. Start time, 1:30!

Kindergarten had their first day with rhythm sticks in the music classroom! They were fantastic listeners and music makers!
