5-8 Music Contest

Arapahoe will be hosting the 5-8 Area Music Contest tomorrow hosting over 9 other schools for group/individual/ensemble band and choir performances going on.
The entire JH choir and 5&6 grade choir is singing and the JH and 5&6 grade band is performing. Thanks for helping them perform on Saturday! Friends and family are encouraged to come and watch these performances!
Come out and support the AHPS students performing tomorrow at the School starting at 9am with our student performances going on all day until 2:30pm.

Creating Kindness Assembly
Pat Ludeke, a special education teacher from Fremont Public Schools (Washington Elementary), was here on Tuesday to present a special gift to our school and fire department.
This is all about remembering the sacrifices of heroes and the resiliency of communities that have faced a natural disaster.
A special gift was given to Pat’s school to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the devastating March 2019 floods.
This year Pat’s school is paying it forward and in a random act of kindness presenting a gift to our school on the one-year anniversary of the wildfires that affected so many in our community.
Thank you to Pat and Fremont Public Schools for Paying It Forward and Creating Kindness!!!

Great job by the 11 Freshman representing AHPS at the District National History Day Competition held last week at UNK.
Juliana Hanzlick received 1st place for her project on the Silk Road and the Performance Group of Jordan Holstein, Annaka Wasenius, Emma Strand, Chloe Gooden, and Ryleigh Tidyman also did as well on their Historical Nicodemus, KS performance.
Both have qualified for the upcoming State Competition which will be held at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln on Saturday, April 1st
