The 5th/6th graders exercised their rights and stepped into the voting booth! After learning about the impact of the popular vote on the electoral college, we decided to try it out ourselves! We filled out voter ID cards, voted in private, and then waited patiently for results!

The results are in! The fiction genre that received the most votes in JH and HS was Horror. Thank you to everyone who voted in yesterday's election!
With approximately 45% voter turnout in the JH and 57% voter turnout in the HS, the polls have closed! Which fiction genre was the favorite? Students will learn the outcome tomorrow!










It's Election Day and JH/HS students and staff are voting for their favorite fiction genre in our school library! Some students began voting early yesterday. The winner will be announced tomorrow!

The Warriors are headed on a road trip today looking for another Playoff Victory and a chance to make it to the Quarterfinals for the 2nd year in a row!





Will the real Coach K please step forward!!! Students had a great time celebrating Halloween today at APS.

Juniors took the ASVAB this week (think ACT for the Military).
It also gives students feedback on jobs/careers that match their strengths.
The proctor complimented our Juniors for taking it seriously, taking their time, and giving their best effort.

Students & Staff are all dressed up today for the 7-12 Costume Contest. K-6 will be doing a parade of costumes in the New Gym at 3pm today w/ parents encouraged to attend.
After school, the Halloween Parade will take place downtown at 4pm
